Activity and quality in life - every day!
To be active in every phase of our lives, to shape our lives, to pursue things that are important to us, to be successful, to find peace, to be happy: We all desire it and yet at the same time have such different ideas about it. Whatever our individual need for successful activity and participation looks like: If health problems limit our ability to lead our lives, occupational therapy can help - on an individual basis.

Practice information on the subject of Corona
Due to the current pandemic situation, it is also important to take measures in occupational therapy practices to protect everyone involved from infections as comprehensively as possible. The advice given here is based on the currently valid regulations of the Infection Protection Act of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, as well as the current recommendations of the Ministries of Health of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Free State of Bavaria, the Robert Koch Institute and the BGW Employer's Liability Insurance Association. With the expiry of the SARS-CoV-2 occupational health and safety standards on 25.05.2022, the BGW recommendations are now primarily authoritative and are consistently implemented in this practice. The measures are explicitly just as sensible even if you should already have been vaccinated.
Therefore, please note the following instructions for your visit to the practice.
What is occupational therapy?
Occupational therapy - like physiotherapy, speech therapy, podiatry and nutrition therapy - is one of the remedies, i.e. it is a medical service that is provided personally by professionals. But what exactly is occupational therapy?
Wikipedia answers this question like this1: "Occupational therapy (OT) is profession within healthcare. It is the use of assessment and intervention to develop, recover, or maintain the meaningful activities, or occupations, of individuals, groups, or communities. It is an allied health profession performed by occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants (OTA). OTs often work with people with mental health problems, disabilities, injuries, or impairments.2"
